Career Bliss: A Guide for the Overworked and Underappreciated

So, Monday rolls around, and you still don’t feel energized to go into work. You’ve been working at a pace that you’re not able to keep up with. You might be nervous to talk to your boss about it, or you might just think this is the way it is for everybody.

Word to the wise – if you’re overworked and underappreciated, there are things you can do to take action and change your situation!

Career Bliss, a leading online career community, recently asked what I’ve seen help with the feeling of being overworked. In addition to my input, they interviewed other industry leaders who have been there and gone through it. It’s not easy, but there are ways to change your situation.

One of my responses was to simply get more sleep. Often times, sleep is the first thing to go – between worrying about the next day’s work, or trying to complete today’s. Your body needs sleep, and getting enough of it will help with any situation you face.
