Benefits Specialist
We need a Benefits Consultant to help our client work through a transitional period! Are you a Benefits Expert? This may be a great opportunity for you!

One of our clients is looking for a Benefits Specialist. Successful Specialists will be able to help them oversee their current benefit packages, trends, and make recommendations for a plan their great team deserves. Your duties will include evaluating existing benefits policies, proposing amendments if necessary, and communicating with management and employees. We seek candidates who are excited to collaborate effectively with vendors, management, and employees about changes to existing benefits policies.

Preferred candidates will have an excellent understanding of the benefits industry in order to offer employees the best benefits and to attract desirable candidates.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute implementation and integration strategies for new or changing benefits plans, processes and vendors
  • Prepare benefit and other relevant data for new system implementation by cleaning, aggregating, reconciling reports and more
  • Ensure that process documentation is up-to-date and accurately reflects current state
  • Respond to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries
  • Ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide payroll and vendors with accurate eligibility information. Perform quality checks of benefits-related data
  • Provides testing support as needed related to the implementation and operation of HRIS systems.
  • Partner with IT in the development/improvement of the administration process for new benefit plans


Required Skills & Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in administering multiple benefit plans
  • Intermediate working knowledge of HR plans, policies, practices, programs, and systems
  • Strong communication skills demonstrated by effectively communicating relevant plan information to all levels of the organization
  • Collaborates well in a team environment and builds proactive relationships
  • Strong organization and customer service skills
  • Great attention to detail
