Creative Director
Searching for a Creative Director - Leadership - Consumer Products

Looking for a Creative Director who will lead and manage our client's internal creative services “agency” across 7 brands. This individual is responsible for a staff of graphic designers, copywriters, digital designers, videographers and photographers. Additionally, this individual has responsibility for the creative execution for all national events, sales meetings and trade shows.  This team supports other internal stakeholders, inclusive of but not limited to HR, Corporate Communications and the Executive Leadership Team.  

As Creative Director, this individual will report to the VP, Marketing and infuse innovative and creative mindsets, practices, and programs across the organization through omni-channel creative outputs. This individual will lead an execution focused team to develop creative communication strategies, campaigns, and materials (packaging, copy, digital content, etc.). The team will work cross functionally across the product team, e-comm team and our digital and social teams to create the right message to engage both in-store and e-commerce consumers. This is a hands-on role for someone who leads from the front and is skilled at translating complex multi-brand, product strategy and positioning into campaigns, and materials for a variety of audiences.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead Creative Services team to deliver thoughtful, well-executed, and effective campaign concepts, merchandising graphics, sales enablement tools, digital experience, packaging, IM, digital assets, photography, videography and event experience and assets.
  • Ability to prioritize and drive a portfolio of creative projects from concept through delivery, engaging stakeholders appropriately.
  • Adept at managing timelines, presenting and communicating progress to executive teams.
  • Ability to design organization for optimal effectiveness and efficiency by driving and creating process and accountability throughout the team.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships to drive results.
  • Direct multiple major projects/programs with broad scope and strategic business impact.
  • Work collaboratively across a matrixed, cross-functional structure, and hire, train, coach, counsel, and evaluate the performance of reports to develop a high-performance team.
  • Track outcomes and manage activities and program performance in accordance with budget and strategic direction.
  • Ability to manage a studio and ability to flex freelance staff to ensure job demand  is getting completed.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in leading a creative services organization.
  • Internal or external agency experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated results with progressively increasing responsibilities and 2+ years of people-leadership experience with the proven ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to work independently, taking responsibility to handle assigned initiatives. 
  • Highly proficient in use of graphics software such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Working knowledge in Microsoft Office programs. Web design knowledge a plus. Photography experience a plus. 
  • Able to multi-task and work on several assignments simultaneously and often under tight timelines.
