Versique Search and Consulting announced the promotion of Steve Yakesh to President of Direct Hire and Executive Search. In this role, he will be responsible for leading the operations of Versique’s sales, recruiting, and delivery practices. In addition to these duties, Steve will also guide Versique’s tenured team of practice directors to sustain positive growth, building on the firm’s streak of consecutive years of growth since 2013.
“Steve has been instrumental since Versique’s inception in helping launch new areas of services; including our Executive Retained Practice and most recently a new acquisition in the banking and financial services industry.” Says Versique CEO Tony Sorensen, “I’m excited to see him in this new role, overseeing all of Direct Hire and Executive Search.”
In his previous position as Executive Vice President, Steve focused on growth initiatives including business development and expanding the firm’s capabilities through recruitment, development, and acquisitions.

Steve brings with him over 15 years of experience in both direct hire recruiting and executive search in addition to many years of sales and marketing roles within Fortune 500 and Global 50 organizations.
